If there were one word to describe him, it would have to be: intense. He was a quiet little dork in the body of a loud muscle builder. He had some kind of charm that made everyone want to be his friend, even though he could easily turn on you and take you down, hard. For a while, we were good friends who shared drinks and philosophical conversations on life, drawn together for support and advice over the woes of unrequited love for other people. But, as things go with him, the friendship didn’t last and he vanished into oblivion.

I miss this guy. Still weirded out at how religious he became (vs. the hardcore atheist he was before).
Whenever he sees me in public he always yells out to me. It's sweet. He always unnerved me though, I didn't find him trustworthy at all.
Lauren: Yes, see? Intense. Everything he does is intesely; including his lack of faith to his newfound religion.
Oleander: That also seems to be the only way I've seen him the past couple of years! Just, once a year or so, he pops out of obscurity by shouting at me through a car window that races past me. It's like, "BAM! A reminder of my existence!" and then he's gone just as quickly.
See, the last time I was walking downtown and I heard "SONEIA" and I kept walking and I guess he pulled over, got out of his car and came running up to get my attention. We talked MAYBE 5 minutes, then he got in his car and left. Strange, strange, strange.
Charles and I have had a habit over the past five years of seeing each other all the time over the span of a month or two then him disapearing for a year or more. Last time this happened was around December of last year. He's still as intense and insane as ever...
Easy come, easy go, I guess!
